Good news! After months of waiting, Google Wallet, which was introduced last May, finally released on this september 19th. Google announced it was testing the service since the announcement thoroughly and is ready for the public to use. Google portfolio will be available on phones from Sprint 4G Nexus S together with an update on the air. For now, only works with Citi credit cards and prepaid MasterCard cards Google. For the first users, Google will give a 10 dollars free to anyone who uses Google prepaid cards in Google wallet by the end of the year.
Other cards such as Visa, Discover and American Express added in future versions of Google Wallet (not the word, as it happens), but now users are limited only to the Citi MasterCard. There was no mention in the NFC stickers that were supposed to dispose of non-NFC phones, so it seems that users of Google Wallet is limited to credit card holders who own the Citi MasterCard Nexus S phone for Sprint 4G. It is not a good way to start, but we hope it does not take too long to improve.
